Irja Auroora´s Masterclass for opera singers with pianist Piia Paemurru.
18.-23.8.2025 in Helsinki. The final concert will take place on Sunday, 24.8.2025.

The price of the Masterclass is 580 €.
The deadline for informal applications is 12.6.2025.

Irja Auroora made her operatic debut as Micaela (Carmen) at the National Opera in Helsinki. After her studies at the Music Academy in Vienna, she had opera engagements in Darmstadt and in Bremen singing there Mozart, Verdi and Wagner roles among others.
She has performed as a soloist at the Salzburg Festival, Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele, Festival de Saint-Denis in Paris, Helsinki Festival and at other music centers. At the Wagner Festivals in Bayreuth she sang the role of Gutrune in the 100th anniversary of the Ring cycle. She has also made Lied albums and numerous Lied recordings.

Irja Auroora has also given many masterclasses and worked as a Singing Pedagog at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki.

Piia Paemurru is an Estonian pianist and an appreciated and beloved accompanist
of opera and Lied singers.

She is working with singers for classical music at the Music Academy of Tallinn and as répétiteur and accompanist at the Opera of Theater Vanemuine in Tartu.
She also works in Germany at the Bavarian Opera Academy, among others.
